Summer was created as part of the After the Fall project—a period of exploration in which I allowed myself to momentarily step away from my usual musical path. The piece is built on simple musical ideas that form the heart of my compositional process, yet here, the narrative element became central.

Structured in four chapters, the work evokes a poetic atmosphere—at once distant and deeply personal. Each section unfolds like a fragment of memory, shaped by layered textures and evolving sound imagery. The sonic landscape captures both warmth and fragility, expressing the quiet balance between detachment and emotion.

At its core, Summer is a meditation on recollection and transformation. It reflects the sweetness of creative freedom—the willingness to drift from familiar patterns, to listen differently, and to rediscover simplicity as a source of depth. Through its subtle interplay of narrative and abstraction, the piece becomes both a personal reflection and a universal portrait of memory illuminated by time.
