Prepared Silence: Piano Works brings together new piano compositions developed through the Summer 2025 Mentorship Program under the guidance of composer and educator Soheil Shirangi. These works explore contemporary pianistic language, extended techniques, and the subtle boundary between sound, resonance, and silence. Performed by pianist Qin Lan Zhang, the album presents a focused snapshot of emerging compositional voices shaped through mentorship, dialogue, and artistic experimentation.
